Who is it for?

Everyone.

Using critical thinking is for everyone who lives in this culture. We are swimming in an ocean of messages, from a broad mixture of sources. Some of these sources want what’s best for us; others want us to behave in a certain way to benefit them.

More sophisticated critical thinking skills can be learned for a particular purpose. People who appreciate the arts, like literature and sculpture, apply critical judgment about their field. The same could be said of lawyers, doctors, and scientists of all kinds. A common thread for all of these folks is “ethics.”
